It was overcast, lots of very dark cloud overhead, and quite breezy for most of the day, but the rain held off and we managed to have a wonderful hike.
Most of the area was burnt due to the recent fires with family homes, once filled with happiness and laughter, now standing charred and silent.
However, amazingly, everywhere through the burnt ground out popped the flowers. Beautiful!
