Hike with us

Here you’ll find our Grading System and the Hiking Schedule.

Please use them together when picking a hike to join.

There are helpful notes below. Please read them and don’t forget to contact the hike leader.

TCSA Grading System

The purpose of our grading system is to provide information about the attributes of the hikes to help you decide, as objectively as possible, whether going on a particular hike is appropriate for your fitness level, technical ability and/or aversion to height exposure so that you don’t find yourself out of your depth or cause problems for the group.

Difficulty: this answers the question that is almost always asked by people before a hike: “How difficult is the hike?” The descriptor grades the hike in one or two words.
